Luogo di progettazione e spazio di incontro tra linguaggi espressivi

L'Associazione Culturale Studio Openspace sviluppa la propria attività organizzando spettacoli e laboratori di creazione artistica al confine con il cinema, il teatro e l'arte visiva.

Utilizzando tecnologie avanzate per interpretarne i diversi codici, Studio Openspace parte dalla contaminazione dell'immagine con alfabeti espressivi diversi per uno studio formale sul corpo dell'attore e sullo spazio che lo circonda.

Studio Openspace ha collaborato e collabora con istituzioni teatrali private e pubbliche italiane ed estere.

Studio Openspace is not only a place of designing and cultural exchange, but also a place of the mind, a room where different expressive languages can meet, a boundary line. All the phases of workshop and conceptual elaboration of the works that are carried out pervade the final moment of the staging, breaking the classic limit of the performance;  the theatrical space happens to be interpreted according to a settled language.

Therefore, this leads to the creation of an image-theatre, a thin line of demarcation between languages, where body and video-art complement one another, where the wordtakes a new-icon shape, where colour itself can change the dramaturgy and the sound-sign of the materials enriches the gesture.

Studio Openspace mounts theatrical workshops of artistic creation at the bounds of visual art, including the contribution of gesture and word.

The contamination of theatrical language with other expressivealphabets is the starting point of the work of the Studio. The pieces of work performed on the stage are the result of searching the balance point between these languages.

For this reason, Studio Openspace considers the actor’s body as work cornerstone element, using advanced technologies to interpret his/her different codes.
